The Mahana, Unit 301, Maui | Eden on the Pacific

"I'm going to save you a lot of time. We spent a month in spring 2008 in Maui and walked all the available condo properties from N. Wailea to Kapalua. This is the best of the condo complexes by owners available. A number are 60s and 70s complexes that are just so tired. Some of the complexes looked nice on the Internet--not so nice when you walk them. Read the reviews on Mahana. In the photos, it looks a bit dark. It isn't. It's rich and luxurious. The living room has windows on three sides for a view that surrounds you. Amazing furnishings and detail, every square inch. It's a corner unit with windows on the ocean and side toward the pool. It's the right condo complex, the right unit with the right owners. If it's available, just stop here; it's the one. After you stay in Mahana 301, anything else will seem a distant second. As an extra bonus, we never had to reserve a pool lounge."
